February saw the review of the company’s Quality System certification, in accordance with the latest edition of the UNI EN ISO 9001/2000 standards. This result was accomplished thanks to the commitment and the involvement of all Cielle personnel. One especially prestigious achievement concerned the qualification and certification of the company’s design system. We are thus able to guarantee control over the entire production process, from the design of the product to its delivery and after-sales service. In addition, the new orientation of the standards has reinforced the concept and philosophy that we have always pursued regarding customer satisfaction and the increasing involvement and participation of our employees in the business. The stress on continuous improvement and the constant checking of the efficiency and effectiveness of the company’s processes mean that we consider this achievement as an important stage in our professional growth, with respect to human resources and the environment. Indeed, it is for this purpose that we are currently arranging for the certification of our Environmental Management System according to the UNI EN ISO 14001 standards, a target we aim to reach by the end of the year 2002.
